Elephant Apartment + 2 Bathrooms

We have such fond memories of our time in Rome. The apartment, the building, and the location were all a dream, and the flat was clean when we arrived. We spent two full months there with our children, and everything worked really well. Alberto responded quickly whenever something came up. We could also book a cleaner, which helped with the mess the kids made. Thank you, Alberto!

The neighborhood was one of the best parts of our six weeks in the Elephant Apartment. Trieste Salario feels like a real Roman area, with supermarkets, restaurants, and shops just a few blocks away, and it isn’t overrun by tourists. Buses and trams make it easy to get around the city, and ItTaxi is there if you want it. Much of Rome is turning into a theme park, so we appreciated staying somewhere that didn’t feel like that. The apartment is in a sturdy 1920s building with a quaint elevator that never seemed busy. It’s a spacious, genuine two-bedroom, two-bathroom place that can comfortably fit two couples or a family of four. One bedroom has its own bathroom. The furniture is basic and inexpensive, and the apartment is dated, but it was comfortable and very clean. We were glad to have a washer and dryer, full-size fridge, stove, electric coffee pot, toaster, and older microwave. The beds are firm but comfortable, with plenty of linens and blankets. Alberto, the manager, was helpful and responsive, and check-in and checkout were easy. We’d highly recommend both the apartment and the neighborhood.

We were really happy with the Elephant apartment. It’s lovely and in a great location, and Alberto was an amazing host who was always there when we needed help. We also appreciated all his tips on restaurants and other places nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here in Rome.

The apartment was just as advertised and had all the essentials. It’s well located, with good transport links to all parts of the city. Our host was excellent and helpful with everything. We had a great stay and would gladly return.
