Grand Hotel Olympic

The area felt very safe, and there are shops and restaurants all around the hotel. It's about 10 minutes from the Vatican. Our room was old but decent. The air conditioning didn't work at all in winter, so the room was cold. Breakfast was nothing special, but there was enough to eat: croissants, eggs, salami, cheese, yogurt, and baked goods.

The staff were so friendly and helpful that the hotel felt like a home away from home. Its central location made it easy to walk to all the sights, and breakfast was dependable with lots of choices. We had a lovely stay and would book here again if we return to Rome.

We ate breakfast at the hotel every day, with enough choice to find several things we liked. After six nights at Grand Hotel Olympic, I was very happy with the stay. I travel at least four times a year, and the staff stood out for being friendly and responsive. The room had a large bed, a mini fridge, and a spacious bathroom. The location is central, close to Vatican City and other major sights, while away from the direct tourist bustle. I'll definitely return.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. At check-in, the woman gave me a tourist map and marked the scenic spots and how to reach them. I had a small room with a single bed, a mini fridge, and a private bathroom with a shower. Continental breakfast was included. The hotel is probably the closest one to the Vatican, and the main points of interest are walkable. I bought a bus pass, which also worked on the metro. There are lots of shops around and some excellent little sidewalk restaurants just a few blocks away. I'd definitely come back.
