There was poor soundproofing, so we could hear other guests chatting and laughing. I also couldn’t understand why there was a kitchen if guests weren’t allowed to use it. The arrival rule was strange too: you had to tell staff exactly 30 minutes before you arrived, or you’d be left outside by the trash bins waiting for them. They charged 25 euro for arriving after 7pm, though this wasn’t mentioned in the introduction and no explanation was given. For that money, I could even buy them a key box.😅 The staff member, Elisa, was rude and unprofessional. I tried to communicate nicely but kept getting rude responses. They collected the city tax in cash only and gave no receipt. Maybe they were trying to avoid the tax. This was the worst experience of my world trip. Please list all these strange rules in the introduction so people can choose somewhere else and make their trip easier and more pleasant.

The location was easy to get around from, about 20 minutes from the city center, and we’d recommend it to fellow travelers. The building is old but very well preserved. Our room was excellent, tidy and clean, with vintage yet modern furniture.

The room was pretty and comfortable, with a clean bathroom, little bar fridge, and coffee machine for morning coffee. Breakfast comes as a voucher for a nearby cafe, and I felt it could be a bit better to match the lovely B&B. Takeaways are also possible, and there’s a supermarket right across the road. It’s in a nice, non-touristy part of Rome, in the elegant embassy area. Bus 80 express makes it easy to get to the main sights. I’d definitely return.

We arrived late at night, but they didn’t open the door, even though we’d discussed late check-in and they’d agreed earlier. They didn’t even answer our calls. No response and no refund, even up to today!!!
