Some of the menu choices feel like a gamble. I had incredible gnocchi, but the pasta and carpaccio were pretty mediocre. The place is okay, though it definitely wouldn't be my first pick in the area.

The ribs were the best I've ever had, and I'd recommend them without hesitation. Everything else was great too, from the food and drinks to the quality dessert and wonderful service. There's a cozy feel to the restaurant, and a lovely female waiter made us feel especially welcome. Definitely worth a visit while you're in Rome.

We waited 40 minutes for our pasta because the chef had forgotten our order. When it finally came, neither dish was good. My taglioni ragu had meat that didn't seem fresh and overcooked vegetables, and my husband's carbonara wasn't good either. I didn't want to pay for food I hadn't eaten, but the waiter rudely said that ordering it was my problem. We paid in the end. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

We were four people and all left happy. The food was superb: five stars for both the daily gnocchi with beef ragu and the truffle carbonara. We found it on day three, and it's been our best meal in Rome so far. Just a few tables sit on a peaceful cobbled street corner, a stone's throw from the chaos, with friendly staff. A perfect find.
