The superior rooms were well equipped, with spacious bathrooms, and the staff were polite. The location is very convenient. Just be aware that check-in is only possible during certain hours, and it can get noisy with the windows open.

The room was clean and spacious, and the staff were really friendly. You can reach the Trevi Fountain in a 10-minute walk and the Coliseum in about 30 minutes. The location right by the Spanish Steps is amazing. Highly recommend.

We booked the Allegri 2 Deluxe Suite/apartment at the last minute for our family of five during two days and nights in Rome in October 2014. It cost a little more than we’d planned, but we loved the place. The small terrace looked out over the Spanish Steps, and its bistro table for two was lovely for people watching. The whole apartment was charming, with architectural details we really liked, and all the windows faced the Steps. There were three rooms, a kitchen, and a good-sized bathroom. The main bedroom had a very comfortable bed at least queen size. Another room, which I imagine was also the living room, had two couches, one of them a full sofa bed, and access to the terrace. The third had a single sofa bed with a trundle, all made up for sleeping. There was room for six, so it worked well for families with kids. The kitchenette had plenty of supplies, a full-size fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, two stove burners, sink, and a small folding dining table. We highly recommend the hotel and location. Keep in mind that not every room has a terrace or a view of the Spanish Steps, so choose accordingly if that matters to you.

The apartment at Via Margutta n.33 was lovely, but driving there with lots of luggage was a hassle. Parking is a long way from the property, and getting your bags means hauling them up and down stairs through the subway station. It would be great if you arrive by taxi or Uber. If you're driving and have a lot to carry, forget it.

The Domus was amazing, with stunning rooms and staff who were really friendly and helpful. It’s right by the Spanish Steps and a Metro station, and only a short walk from Via delCorsa, close to all the main tourist attractions. We booked through a travel agent on our second trip to Rome. Would I stay again? 100% yes.
