La Finestra su Fontana di Trevi - Charming View

A private, clean little place, and really cosy.

The host, “Simona,” was inattentive and unprofessional. When I had questions, she snapped at me, and she didn't seem able to handle comments or feedback 😉. I stayed three nights and barely slept because of the noise, both from the street and inside the apartment. There was hardly any hot water either, as the boiler seemed to be running out of power. You expect a prime location, but this apartment was terrible. You can see the Trevi Fountain if you lean your whole body out of the window…. Good luck to anyone staying there in future.

The owner's helpfulness and all the thoughtful extras in the apartment made our vacation unforgettable. The rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and we used the guides in the apartment to plan our days. We also had portable Wi-Fi, though the tip is to put it by the window when you're back home. The Trevi Fountain is just 50 meters from the window, and you wake up to its roar. The windows facing it are such a treat. There's a flight of stairs before the elevator up to the second floor, and we always took the stairs. Around the B&B, you can easily walk to Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, the Altare della Patria, Campo de' Fiori, the Colosseum, and Piazza Navona. For breakfast, there's a fresh croissant at the bakery downstairs, plus a fully automatic coffee machine in the B&B with regular and decaf capsules.

The apartment was spotless, welcoming, and beautifully furnished. Simona was so kind and helpful. Seeing the magnificent Trevi Fountain right from our window was wonderful, and I can't wait to come back!
