Breakfast had a nice range of choices, and the room was lovely. The service was friendly, too. With the metro, shops, and restaurants all close by, I'd definitely stay here again.

The rooms themselves were very good, and the location is close to the terminal, just two stops away on the B line. But getting in was a problem every time. We spent an hour and a half trying to open the remotely controlled front door, and the owner wasn't there at check-in. We were told staff would be there from 9:30 to 12:30, but there was no one except the owner. The messages were rude, and I kept them. We contacted her about breakfast, but there was nothing available for the next morning, so we had to buy milk and cereal ourselves. There wasn't any butter for toast for the three days we were there either. One night the shower water was only lukewarm, and the water heater had been switched off. The shower drain was completely blocked with human hair, so I had to clear it for the water to drain. I should have taken a photo, but the water was cold.

I booked through Booking.com in March at a good rate for a stay the following week. The charge was meant to be just a hold on my card, but the owner took the full amount straight away. Then, a week before arrival, she cancelled, leaving me to find somewhere else at a much higher price. I still hadn't received a refund, so I had to take it up with Booking.com. I wish I'd checked these reviews first. It feels like a borderline scam: could she be listing rooms cheaply, then cancelling at the last minute if someone else wants to pay more? She had money from several people that she shouldn't have charged yet. This was a really unpleasant and dishonest way to treat customers. Please don't fall for it. Other TripAdvisor reviews describe the same thing. AVOID AVOID AVOID. In reply to the owner's response, I never got a refund and had to make a claim with my credit card company. Update 1/10/25: The B&B owner said she'd transferred my refund, but she used the IBAN without any identifying reference, so the payment never arrived. I'm still out of pocket and have had to dispute it through my credit card. She's also sent me unhinged, threatening messages. Absolutely disgraceful conduct. If you don't want to be treated this way, don't stay here.

Rossana, who was in charge, was the rudest and least sympathetic person we met on our holiday in Italy. She made us complete online check-in out on the street. Better to avoid meeting her.
