The kitchen was handy, whether you wanted to cook or just make coffee whenever you liked, and breakfast was included at the bar, which I really appreciated. The metro stop is only 70m away, a big plus. We paid very little compared with places around Rome. We were there just one day, and the room was laid out very well, though the toilet felt a little small by my standards. Give it a try, and enjoy Rome. Hope this review helps!

The host was really helpful and explained what we needed to know about getting around and sightseeing. Although it’s not near the city centre, the subway station is right next door, so the location wasn’t a problem. The rooms were very clean, with daily cleaning, and there’s a shared kitchen plus a big patio outside. I was surprised by how comfortable the mattress and pillow were, a huge plus.

Max replied to my questions really quickly before we booked, and when my daughter and I arrived around 21.30, he let us in and showed us to the apartment. The next day he told us a lot about Rome. It’s well equipped and there’s a shared kitchen. Baldo Degli Ubaldi metrostop is nearby, and a ride into Rome costs only 1,50 euro per person. We skipped the 24/48/72h passes and walked a lot. You can get around the centre on foot. For breakfast, the nextdoor Sabir Bar is a good choice. The staff are friendly, and the food and coffee are good. Breakfast is served there if you book it. We also had dinner at Cacio & Peppe and Joseph Ristorante, and liked both. We’d eat local instead of heading into Trastevere. We had a very pleasant stay at Lanzies.

The price matched the service perfectly. The host was friendly and responsive, and at last I found an apartment with proper windows and noise insulation.
