Livia B&B

We spent nine days here and were very happy with our choice. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed, and Livia was lovely and helpful. We could walk to almost all of Rome's interesting places from here. We also stumbled across places we hadn't planned to visit, like a huge clothing market open on Sundays. Bus stops nearby made it easy to get to the train stations and elsewhere. There are dozens of cafes, pizzerias, and restaurants around, with tasty food at fairly reasonable prices.

We were sorry to leave Livia’s B&B. The room was lovely and comfortable for me and my partner, and the location was amazing, close to the best monuments. Livia was a great host. Valerio shared lots of information about the area and replied to us very quickly. We also found a delicious cake for breakfast, a lovely way to start the day.

It was easy to feel like a local here. The rooftop is amazing, and the bedroom has great views. You can walk to everything, while the place still feels private. The neighborhood is lively in the daytime, but with the windows closed it's quiet. Livia was kind, and the space was beautiful and very clean.

We were glad we'd booked both available rooms for our family of three, since you can hear every little noise from the other room. The street outside can also be loud at night, though that's normal for lively Trastevere, with all its bars, restaurants, and good shops. The B&B is on the third floor with no lift. It's easy to reach sights on foot or by bus or tram, and the rooms are clean, modern, and nicely furnished. Livia and Valerio were lovely and helpful, while staying discreet. WhatsApp communication was quick and easy. I'm usually more of a hotel person because I like my own anonymous space, and I booked this B&B by accident. Still, I didn't regret it. It felt cozy and homely, and we all had a great stay.
