Mascagni Luxury Rooms & Suites

The location made getting around Rome easy, with shops, restaurants, and the train station nearby. For the start of our trip, Mascagni Luxury Rooms was a clean, thoughtfully equipped place to land. The staff helped with taxis, our luggage, and finding our way around on our first visit to Rome. We were welcomed with prosecco, fruit, and pastries, and enjoyed the breakfast each morning, especially the coffee and good selection. Our room was hard to cool, and leaving the window open at night was noisy. The lift in our building also stopped working after our first night, though there were other lifts serving different floors. Both were minor hassles, and we would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at Mascagni hotel. It was clean and nice, and the employees were friendly and helpful, especially Sara and the woman working in the breakfast area. Breakfast was fine, though it could use more options, including halal choices.

The suite was spacious, attractive, clean, and quiet, with a beautiful view. It’s in a large building in Piazza della Repubblica, a great base for reaching places around Rome. The suites are in the building next to the reception. The staff were kind and professional. The one disappointment was breakfast: the selection was very limited, with little variety and no baked goods. I had it included but chose to eat elsewhere. I don't think it meets the standard of a 4-star hotel. The price, though, was fair.

We spent four nights here last month and were really pleased with our stay. Our room was in the hotel's newly added area, on the fourth floor of a building a few doors from the main reception. It was clean and pleasant, with a decent view and no one looking in. Housekeeping refreshed it daily, and the breakfast room was lovely, with plenty of choice. The breakfast staff were all friendly, and the receptionist shared tips and recommendations when we checked in. The location worked well for us: it's right by the metro and the main terminal, where we arrived by train from the airport. Trevi is within walking distance, and there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby.
