Mia Roma Centro

The house was beautifully decorated and perfectly located, but that’s where the positives end. The floors were very dirty despite us paying for cleaning. One bathroom was damaged, wouldn’t drain, and left a terrible mold smell. The owner accused us of damage we hadn’t caused and threatened to charge us a ridiculous amount. She never came to inspect before we left, even though we told her she should. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

The house’s location is the only reason I’m giving it one star. It wasn’t cleaned properly, even though the owner charges 150 euros for cleaning, and we had to take out all the garbage ourselves. There were no COVID-19 disinfection measures or antiseptics. One bathroom drain was blocked and there was a lingering smell of mold. Be careful to check out in the owner’s presence, so you aren’t charged later for damage or a malfunction you didn’t cause.

We were welcomed warmly at first. During our stay, we asked the host to turn on the three safes and the radiators. She replied “Yes!” but nothing was done, and she didn’t respond when we followed up. That first impression was undone by the later neglect, lack of communication, and complete lack of professionalism.

Great.
