The only good thing about the location is that it’s near Roma Termini. There were lots of homeless people around. The place itself has an ugly color scheme, though the room size is okay. The bedsheet didn’t seem clean, and both of us were itching the next day. Ants were near the window. The bed creaked a lot. The toilet is tiny, the shower head needs descaling because water splashed everywhere, and the curtain was so long it stopped water going down the drain. At least there was hot water, and the air conditioning worked well. The service was poor. The owner never showed up to guide us, and although the email said a video with guidance was attached below, it wasn’t there. We had to message her on WhatsApp to get it. Breakfast was barely enough, just some drinks, two croissants, a plumcake, butter and jam. I’ve never stayed in a hotel or Air B&B that required checkout at 10 am. At 9:58, a woman knocked to ask how long we needed, then came in while we were doing our final packing and took the CITY TAX envelope, as if we weren’t going to pay. At least they let us wait by the kitchen while we waited for our train.
