The rooms are proper, spacious, and well cared for, and you can walk to everything from this great location. Be ready for some stairs, though. The elevator doesn’t stop on the second floor.

Avoid this place. The property was dirty and extremely noisy, and they even provide earplugs. There was an unbearable sewage smell from the toilet. The service and support were terrible and unresponsive. The door lock broke, and we waited more than three hours for a locksmith. On top of that, the power went out twice, each time for over eight hours. We couldn’t charge our phones or my father’s hearing aid, and we missed our visit to the Vatican City the next day.

Getting around the building with bags was awful. We were on the second floor, but had to ride the lift to the third and then use several different stairs to reach our room. Without luggage it was a nuisance; with it, it was terrible. The room itself was dark, old and neglected, and looked nothing like the photos. The doors creaked and were rotting. We had to lift the bathroom door to shut it, and the floor felt sticky from too much detergent. The bathroom tap had just one weak setting, and the shower area was cramped and overflowing. The furniture wasn't well maintained either. It was also very noisy because the window didn't seal out sounds from outside. They even leave earplugs in the room, which tells you something. Service was basically absent despite the advertised 24/7 availability. We asked four times for another blanket and never got one during our stay. Eventually we stopped asking.

The luggage lockers were such a great idea, and getting into the apartment was easy. Everything went smoothly, and it was super clean, from the bedsheets to the towels. Thanks for everything. We'll definitely come back.
