Residence Casale Mostacciano

For a quiet, independent stay with some Roman atmosphere, Residence Casale Mostacciano is a good option. It's in a green residential area, away from the tourist crowds downtown, and works well for couples, families, or groups of friends. The staff are courteous, discreet, and helpful, offering a warm welcome and useful tips about the stay and area. The apartments are spacious, simply but tastefully furnished, and have the essentials: a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and bright, clean rooms. Some also have outdoor areas where you can have breakfast outside or relax in the evening. The peaceful setting among greenery is a real plus, while supermarkets, pharmacies, and bus stops are still nearby. EUR or the city center is about 20-30 minutes away by car, depending on traffic.

Maurizio and his wife welcomed us and did all they could to help. The property has 12 apartments in a lovely green setting, with a well-kept pool right in the middle of the garden. Our apartment fit four comfortably, with a bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. The bathroom was large and beautiful, with a tub and a window facing the courtyard. Air conditioning in the rooms made the stay feel really comfortable and relaxing.

The welcome and hospitality were the best part, and the staff were always attentive and ready to help, especially the handyman Maurizio and his wife. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, there's convenient parking, and guests can use the pool whenever it's open. It's only a few minutes' walk from the IFO, and also works for a relaxing break surrounded by nature and greenery, away from the city's chaos. Recommended.

The one small downside is that you'll need a car to get around easily, including to the center, the park, or the metro. Still, this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. The residence is beautiful, clean, and surrounded by greenery. The rooms are small apartments, always spotless and well furnished, with every comfort and plenty of peace and quiet. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, always up for a chat. I recommend it 100%.
