The room was a huge disappointment. There was dust everywhere, mold on the walls, and stains on the bedspread that I couldn’t identify. It was on the first floor, with dated windows and no soundproofing at all. In short, a total disaster, and I absolutely don’t recommend staying here in Rome. I booked through Booking.com, but an agency handled check-in and check-out when I arrived. They charged me €35 in cash for an unscheduled Sunday check-in. That fee wasn’t listed on Booking.com, even though the woman insisted it was a Booking.com error. I left it at that, but the €35 was still paid under the table, with no receipt.

It was an easy place to get around from, with both the Colosseum and the Vatican within walking distance. The apartment was spacious, pleasant, and very well equipped, with everything feeling just like home, including a toaster and microwave. Comfortable beds, too. Breakfast vouchers let us have breakfast at a nearby bar, and each day everyone could get a free espresso, cappuccino, or tea, plus a croissant-like pastry with fillings such as cream or pistachio. The door was easy to open with the app. I recommend it 💕
