We had a clean room overlooking the inner courtyard, so street noise wasn't an issue. The building itself is historic, beautiful, and well kept. There's a lift, though we liked taking the marble staircase instead. For an average traveler, the location makes this a really good value. The rooms are a solid three-star standard, and breakfast was tasty. The selection may be average, but those filled croissants were unforgettable. The host was very polite, and although breakfast officially starts later, you can let them know if you need to leave early. We'd stay again next time we're in Rome.

The rooms were great, the hosts were fantastic, and the service was the best we had in Rome. From this location, most of the major sights are about a 15-minute walk away. Easily the best bed and breakfast in the city.

We had a lovely few days at Residenza Pantaleo. Alina greeted us with a smile, took good care of us, and helped sort out a problem. We've traveled for years and haven't had such pleasant service in a long time. The hotel is near Navona Square and most of the sights. Our room was clean, tidy, and had what we needed. Breakfast was tasty and enough for us, even if the selection wasn't large. Don't expect a grand, fancy lobby, but for a reasonable price this is a great place to stay.

The apartment is well placed, near Piazza Novona and campo de'fiori. The staff were wonderful and helped us arrange cars for an early airport departure, as well as pointing us toward local events.
