The biggest concern was security. Rooms relied on passcodes that seemed easy to predict, and once we came back during the day to find staff had left our door open with our belongings exposed. The room also bore little resemblance to the listing photos and description. WiFi was poor, and the shower sat in the corridor area of the main room with very little ventilation. Humidity lingered throughout, the air barely circulated, and there was a constant moldy smell.

Our confirmed reservation at Ripetta Suites had been cancelled and the room given away by the time my partner and I arrived. It was supposed to be paid on arrival, but we had to find somewhere else at much higher cost and were still charged in full. They also listed us as a no-show. So far there have only been excuses and no resolution. We’ll update this if they issue a full refund.

Yasmin, Shiva and Elena were so kind and pointed us to good places to see in Rome. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. We’d absolutely recommend this hotel!

We barely slept for three days because the poor windows let in so much noise. Renovations were going on, but the hotel hadn't warned us that there'd be morning wake-up noise. The room itself was damp in every corner, the bathroom was very dirty, the floors were dirty and the TV didn't work. There was no air conditioning because the hotel had switched it off, even though the offer said it was available. The price was similar to other places nearby, so I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
