It’s basically a five-room flat in a building, with nice, clean rooms and air conditioning that can be left on when you go out. The internet is fast, breakfast is great, and the staff are nice. They aren’t there all day, which gives you some privacy apart from the other guests. There’s a good restaurant right next door and a local supermarket on the street corner. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had two pleasant days at Roman Holidays Hotel, inside an authentic Roman apartment. It was very clean and cozy, and the lady was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple and tasty. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from Roma Termini station, with a red-line metro stop 5-10 minutes away. There’s a supermarket and gelato shop just around the corner. You may hear traffic outside in the morning because the soundproofing isn’t very thick, but everything else was perfect.

We booked a room for two with two single beds. One of us chose to sleep on the large sofa just to have more space. The next day, we politely told Elena that the toilet flush wasn’t working properly. While we were out, she sent a plumber to fix it. The plumber saw that someone had slept on the sofa and mentioned it to Camilla. I understand Camilla had questions, but the way she spoke to us was completely disrespectful. She wouldn’t listen and kept accusing us of hiding a third person and breaking the rules. We stayed two more nights, and Elena, the receptionist, saw us at least twice. There wasn’t a third person. There were also cameras in the hall that Camilla could have checked to confirm that. I assume they weren’t working for financial reasons. What happened felt unfair and disgusting, especially given how careful hotels had to be during Covid. If you’re considering booking here, save yourself the trouble.

Elena made check-in easy and was really caring and helpful. The rooms were good quality for the price, on the second floor across from the Jeep showroom. It’s about a ten-minute walk to Roma Termini, and the stay was good value.
