There’s a coffee shop next door, lots of restaurants within walking distance, and the Vatican is about five minutes away, so the location felt just about perfect. Our room was spacious and clean, and it was cleaned daily until 12:00. Fresh croissants and coffee were ready for guests each morning. We had a really nice stay, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

It’s a convenient spot, with good cafes and restaurants nearby and lots of places within easy reach. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned every day, and the friendly staff make things easy. Fresh croissants are left in the kitchen each morning, and you can help yourself to coffee whenever you like. The place delivers what it promises.

The breakfast setup was such a nice extra. Coffee and croissants were included, and I made a delicious cappuccino in the kitchen with the Nespresso capsules, machine, milk, and frother they provided. It was great to eat before heading out to sightsee, with no extra charge. We stayed three nights and had a wonderful time. The room was clean and very nice, and the check-in directions were detailed and easy to follow. St. Peter’s is an easy walk away. The other sights are across the river, but we had no trouble walking everywhere. We highly recommend Porta Castello Suites!

Julie was attentive and helpful, and the espresso and cornetto were always there when we wanted them. That saved us a couple of euros. I felt safe the whole time and, while on vacation with my daughter, felt comfortable enough to feel at home at Porta Castello Suites. Thanks to Julie and the staff for their hospitality. I highly recommend the place.

We were there in January this year and had a fantastic time. The B&B was perfect. Everything was within walking distance, and there’s a bus stop right outside that takes you to and from the centre. The metro station is about a 10 minute walk away. Staff and cleaners were always friendly. Would 100% recommend staying here.
