Saint B Boutique Hotel STB

The location was the one positive, and there are other places nearby to look at. I wouldn't return or recommend this hotel. It may look appealing in photos, but my stay was disappointing, unhygienic, and below basic standards. Housekeeping was poor. The used glasses weren't replaced, the bins overflowed, and they didn't restock the toilet paper even after making up the room. Towels we'd left on the floor to be replaced were folded and put back, still wet from that morning. The bathroom was in a shocking state, with black mold all over the shower and a rusty, dirty toilet brush. The room also had chipped paint and felt grubby overall. When I brought this up at reception, I got a bin bag instead of any real help. That summed up the lack of care throughout the stay.

The price is way too high. The hotel is quite nice, and the rooms are tiny but cozy, though cleanliness needs a lot of work. My duvet was yellow instead of white, there was damp on the ceiling, and the shower walls had dirt and black spots.

The room was small but clean and pretty, and the staff were very kind. It's a little boutique place with just a few rooms in central Rome, on a great street and close to all the attractions. There are two downsides: noise from outside and from other rooms kept waking us, so we couldn't rest properly. The elevator wasn't working, though that didn't bother us since we only had backpacks.

Arianna was absolutely lovely during our stay, easily the nicest receptionist I've come across at any hotel. The room was spacious, super clean, and decorated just right. We were also only a few minutes' walk from many major attractions, with plenty of espresso bars and restaurants nearby. This hotel went well beyond what we expected, and we'd happily stay here again if we're back in Rome.
