The neighborhood felt like a basic residential area, with little charm or atmosphere. There was no breakfast at the property either. The nearby cafés mostly had ordinary croissants, though the coffee was decent. For families, the lack of proper blackout curtains or blinds may also be a problem, as the room stays bright late into the evening if your child is sensitive to light. We did get a spacious room for a good price, and the towels and bed linen were spotless. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. But the service issues had a serious effect on our experience. We were told we could leave our luggage after checkout, then came back later to find the access link had been deactivated because we'd checked out. There were no instructions for retrieving our bags, and we were already late for the airport with an infant. There should be a reliable way to get luggage when guests are allowed to store it. The first access problem was even worse. The property uses an entry link, but we never received it before arriving in Rome. We landed with our tired five-month-old and were locked out of the building, the property, and our room. Calls weren't answered; my husband sent WhatsApp messages while I tried the automated system. It took about 45 minutes to get the link. By then the baby was exhausted, we hadn't eaten, and our dinner plans were ruined. There’s no breakfast at the property, and nearby cafés mostly offer unremarkable croissants, though the coffee was decent. The neighborhood is functional and basic, more like a budget residential area than a picturesque Roman setting. Had the access and communication been handled properly, the stay would have been much more enjoyable. For a budget-friendly place, the rooms are clean and housekeeping is good, but customer service and communication were among the worst we've experienced. If you stay, make sure you get the entry link before arrival and clarify how luggage storage works after checkout.

A clean, cozy hotel for the price. The metro is nearby, and the neighborhood isn't crowded with tourists, so it was easy to sleep well. Good value for money.

The room I arrived to hadn't been cleaned and had no working electricity, so it wasn't usable. Reception was closed and there was nobody available to help. I arrived late at night, exhausted, with an early flight the next morning, and had no realistic alternative. After I tried to get help, someone on staff named Mario, at least that's what he told me, eventually replied on WhatsApp. Instead of resolving the problem professionally, he offered to move me to another hotel about 30 km from Rome's center, even though I'd booked this one specifically for its central location. The tone felt dismissive and almost mocking, with no empathy for a guest who'd already arrived. This was one of the worst accommodation experiences I've had. A situation that could have been handled properly turned into a display of poor management and disrespect. I've stayed in many hotels around the world and rarely seen such bad customer service. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone expecting even basic hospitality.

I spent three days here and had a cold shower every day, despite Rome getting down to 7 degrees Celsius. The hotel acknowledged the hot water problem, but there was no apology or compensation. Each time I contacted them through a third-party platform, they claimed it had been fixed, but the hot water still wasn't working. They never reached out proactively, asked what I needed, or offered to move me to another room. The check-in process was frustrating too. This is self-service, but the hotel doesn't proactively send the city tax payment link, access code, or other instructions. Guests have to contact them to get the information. After my first cold shower, I asked to check out, but they took a long time to respond. Later, a third-party contact told me the issue was fixed. The hotel eventually admitted there was a problem, but did nothing further. I was on my period and spent all three days taking cold showers in freezing weather. I'm extremely disappointed.

The room was okay, and I knew what I was choosing based on the reviews, so I can't complain too much. Still, the shower could use better mold treatment, and it was the first place I'd seen with no night curtains on the window. There usually wasn't anyone at reception, so entry depended on the internet link they provided. Mine didn't work at first, but live support responded quickly and opened the doors remotely. I also paid for breakfast, which was a mistake in my opinion. It wasn't worth the money, and I didn't get what the voucher advertised, including Roman savoury pizza or toast. I'd probably choose somewhere else next time.
