The breakfast buffet had loads of choices, and we loved it. We also ate dinner at the restaurant one night, and the food was tasty and well made, with friendly service. The hotel itself was a treat, from the welcoming front office staff to the big ground-floor spaces with games for kids and teenagers, a lovely bar and restaurant, a large terrace, and a swimming pool. Our comfortable, clean room was thoughtfully laid out, and we thought it was great value for money. We stayed three nights in the middle of April at this lovely, newly renovated hotel. It’s easy to reach by car from one of the main roads into Rome, in a quiet area around 10 minutes by car or taxi from the city center. A complimentary shuttle runs several times a day and drops you off and picks you up near the Vatican. We traveled with our dog and our one-year-old daughter, and it worked really well for kids and dogs. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Rome. We also drove to the sea in about 30 minutes, so the beach isn’t too far away if you have a car.

The staff were a bright spot, especially the woman at the bar who brought us ice for my wife's swollen wrist and hot water for our cup noodles. We also found a lovely restaurant nearby with thin-crust pizza loaded with vegetables and meat, plus pasta and cheesecake. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced, though I can't remember the name. The hotel lobby is roomy, with games and other things to do, and the dining area has plenty of space. Breakfast was okay, with lots of choices, and there's a vending machine for drinks and snacks. Our room was fine for two, with plenty of USB charging ports, but we needed an adapter for our Type C chargers. The three elevators are quite small. There aren't many shops nearby, and the closest Carrefour is over a kilometer away. This hotel was part of our tour package, so we didn't choose it. If we could have picked, we'd have stayed closer to the center. We had to get a Grab to move from Ibis Roma Aurelia to another hotel near the Vatican. Ciao!

The staff were wonderful and really accommodating with my special diet requests. Dinner was delicious, and breakfast was even better. This was the first hotel on my pilgrimage through Italy, and my favorite of the five I stayed in. I loved the updated rooms, beautiful dining room, and lovely lounge.

The breakfast selection was lovely, and my kid had a great time in the play area. We really enjoyed our stay at Ibis. A special mention for Stella at the restaurant, she was full of energy, always smiling, and looked after us so well.
