Don't book this place. The owner insisted that I pay in cash when I arrived, even though that went against what the booking listing said. He claimed cash was the only accepted method. When I refused, he cancelled my reservation just two days before the trip. The whole thing seemed really sketchy. I suspect the owner may be trying to avoid taxes or raise the price when guests arrive. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The owner was friendly and the room matched the pictures, with no issues there. But there’s no soundproofing at all. We heard cars and ambulances all night, and it felt like sleeping in a tent.

Angelo was lovely. He waited for us, showed us where things were, and the apartment was as agreed. The water pressure was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed Thursday through Sunday, but the cigarette smell mixed with air freshener and the dated, unwelcoming decor took away from what could have been an excellent place. Some suggestions for our next trip back to Rome.

Really good value for the price. Angelo, the owner, was kind, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean, and public transport is easy to reach.
