We were very unhappy with this stay. At over $230 a night, we expected much better, but the room was dirty and disappointing. The walls and floors had stains and spots all over. We uploaded photos so you can see what we mean. The advertised minibar was just an empty refrigerator. We were there with our 1½-year-old daughter, and the lack of cleanliness was unacceptable for a family stay. It was also very cold during chilly October nights, and we couldn’t adjust the temperature. We booked partly because the listing promised high-speed internet, but it was too slow for us to work. When we asked to move rooms, staff refused. That left us feeling as if we’d been put in the worst room because we had a child, and honestly, it felt discriminatory. The advertised features turned out to be false or misleading. For what we got, I wouldn’t pay more than $40 per night for a room like this in the U.S. It’s concerning that the property can keep marketing itself this way without accountability. Italy was great overall, but this hotel was easily the worst part of our trip. We strongly don’t recommend staying here.

We were very happy with our stay. The staff were helpful and took care of everything for us. Our rooms were in perfect condition and cleaned every day.

Be careful with this place. The old air conditioning is very noisy, and without it the rooms have no ventilation. In a standard room, the windows either face an emergency staircase or are near a work area that runs constantly, 24 hours a day. The pictures online look good, but staying there was a bad experience. The hotel refused to refund the remaining days even though the room couldn’t provide quiet sleeping conditions.

We paid a premium, but the room was old and dirty, nothing like the online pictures. The carpet was black with stains, the walls were filthy, and the slow internet was another problem. With a little child, we didn’t feel safe letting them play on those floors. We asked several times to change rooms, but the staff were rude and didn’t seem to care. They even said they didn’t mind bad reviews. Management really needs to take action to improve the place.
