Giovanni was lovely and helped me with whatever questions came up. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the train station is so close. A great spot for a few nights in Rome.

There are plenty of nearby places for dinner, aperitivo, or breakfast, and the price seems in line with what Rome offers. The room, number 4, was roomy and quiet, facing an inner courtyard. It’s in a privately owned apartment renovated with a lot of care, though most of the materials seem low quality and already show quite a bit of wear. Cleanliness seemed good to me, even with the double bed’s fabric headboard, which made me uneasy. The building is a rather run-down 1960s apartment block, about a ten-minute walk from the station. The whole area looked similar during our one-night stay. There are a few practical quirks too: one door of the cabinet on the left wall can catch your hand when you open it, and lowering the shutter means opening the window and doing it by hand. The kitchenette is very basic. The bathroom isn’t tiny, but the fixtures are placed awkwardly. A larger person would have a hard time using the bidet or washing their armpits without knocking into things.
