Vanity Hotel

The junior suite had a lovely view from its balcony, and the rooms were spacious with a nice bathroom. There's a reasonably priced mini fridge in the room. For exploring historic Rome, the location is fantastic, and the staff were friendly, communicative, and knowledgeable. You can open both the building and room doors digitally or with physical keys.

They were really accommodating when I arrived early. The previous guests had already left, so I could check in instead of leaving my bags and wandering around. There's a bus stop outside with a route connecting to the train for the airport, making it easy to get there. The room was beautiful and clean, the bed was comfy, and the shower was nice, though its light was out. It sounded like it might have been a special light, which made me curious, but it didn't affect my stay. Service was great and the location is within walking distance of lots of attractions. The Piazza is just down the street, with plenty of dinner options. I'd stay again.

They were so welcoming and helpful. We arrived early in the morning, and the staff stored our bags in their luggage room. By the time we returned, everything had already been brought up to our room. The location is amazing, and the room had plenty of space, a good bathroom, a balcony with a view, comfortable beds, and excellent sound insulation. The water pressure was very low, though. With so many positives, it's hard not to give this place five stars. Hospitality really is the word for them.

We paid a high price for New Year's week and had a terrible experience. My mom and I booked a suite listed with both a bed and a sofa bed, but when we opened the sofa bed that night, it was stained, dirty, and covered in old food. No staff were at the front desk when we went looking for help, so we got linens from a hallway closet and started cleaning and making it ourselves. A staff member arrived after I texted. She said they hadn't expected anyone to use the sofa bed, despite it being listed as a room feature, and just watched while we cleaned it and put on the linens. The next day, we found an all-caps note telling us to stay out of the linen closet. When I raised how rude and aggressive that was, the staff member argued that we weren't supposed to use the sofa bed and insisted staff had been at the desk. She kept mentioning a video of the front desk, so please post it if you're so determined to make that point. The whole exchange was disrespectful and unacceptable. I've never had hotel staff leave a note like that, then argue with me about a dirty bed. Between the staff's behavior and the room's cleanliness, I would never recommend this hotel. The location is in Vatican city, but for the room price, nothing else was up to par.
