Via Veneto Luxury Suites

We had an early flight, so Giorgio prepared a tray the night before with croissants, donuts, fruit, jelly, honey, Nutella, and coffee for us to have before leaving. He was also so helpful with getting around: he explained the buses, marked our location and destinations on a map, and suggested other places to visit. His coffee was fantastic, made however you like it, from cappuccino and latte to espresso, always with a smile. There was fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs cooked to order too. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. I highly recommend this hotel, we had a great stay! 🤗

Being just steps from Villa Borghese was one of our favorite things about the location. The guesthouse sits in a lively but quiet part of Rome, so we could get away from the crowds in the evening. Breakfast had fresh scrambled eggs made to order, lovely cappuccino, pastries, yogurt, and more. The amenities covered what we needed and then some. Giorgio really cares about his guests. He helped us out, gave us city guidance, even taught us a little Italian grammar, and his restaurant suggestions were spot on.

We felt at home and looked after the whole time, and I can’t praise Giorgio or his hotel enough. The location made it easy to walk to many sights, and the hotel itself is modern, comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully furnished. Our mattress and sheets were comfortable, the blackout curtains helped us sleep, and the large bathroom had a spacious shower with good pressure. Breakfast was a highlight each morning: fresh orange juice, coffee, eggs cooked to order, and pastries, with Giorgio there to chat. He knows the area well and even booked us a dinner at his family’s osteria. When we mentioned we were celebrating our 20th anniversary in Italy, he gave us a bottle of wine. He welcomed us with coffee, pastries, and personal tips about the neighborhood, and arranged a taxi for our early flight. The evening before we left, he also set up breakfast in our room so we could eat before departing. We hope to return to this lovely Roman gem.

The service made the stay especially welcoming. The owner and staff clearly care, and the owner was on hand each morning with advice and an exceptional espresso, the best we had in Rome. Breakfast was another highlight, with a good continental spread and eggs cooked fresh. The place is small, beautifully designed, and personal, more like a Roman home than a typical hotel. It’s well placed for the main sights while still feeling calm and local. Our room fit three comfortably, and our daughter had a proper bed rather than a pull-out. The bathroom was roomy too, with a powerful, comfortable shower. We had a fantastic time at Via Veneto Luxury Suites and would happily stay again.
