O apartamento é confortável e muito bom, mas há uma escada alta. A área ao redor do terreno está bastante descuidada. Todo o apartamento tem telas contra mosquitos e também inseticida. O ponto forte é a localização, ao lado de San Gimignano, além do estacionamento próprio.

The place was quiet and relaxing, and we paid about €30 per person. It's outside the historic center, which may be less handy if you're walking, though it wasn't a big problem for us. The drive into San Gimignano is short, but on foot it takes at least half an hour. We walked, and if you follow Google Maps, take the back road since the other route has a stretch without a sidewalk. There is free Wi-Fi and, apparently, plenty of parking along the access road and by the entrance. Our apartment had a hallway with a washing machine that was for the owners' exclusive use, then a living area with a pellet stove, a bathroom with a lock, and two bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The stove was set to switch off at midnight and come back on at 7:00 AM, but ours kept running until 3:00 AM, when an alarm said it needed more pellets, even though nobody had touched the controls. Heat didn't reach the bedrooms very well, but the plentiful warm blankets helped. The pillow was thinner than I like, though there were other options. Watch out when you shower, the first person found the water boiling hot straight away. There were towels and plenty of hot water too, though at first it was a bit too hot. The place was comfortable and peaceful. With more effective bedroom heating and a better adjusted water heater, the stay could be even nicer.

A kind welcome came with a receipt and handy tips for visiting San Gimignano, a surprising gem from our 13th-century history. The apartment is small but works very comfortably for three or four people. It was clean, had everything we needed, and sits among greenery just a two-minute drive from town. We had an excellent stay.
