We spent three nights in a spacious, newly furnished room with tasteful decor and a nice bathroom. The hotel is beautiful, the staff very friendly, and the location is great. It's in a charming little town with relatively few tourists and a lively fishing port. There are excellent local restaurants just around the corner, or you can eat inhouse. We highly recommend it.

Our small room had a stunning view, and Domus Maris is in an excellent spot right beside the promenade. Still, it didn't really feel like staying in a hotel. There didn't seem to be a manager, and the person often at reception appeared unsure what her role was. The owners have spent a lot renovating the property, but it wasn't clear what they wanted it to be.

The hotel was great value, with lovely views and straightforward furnishings. Don't miss Vela, the excellent restaurant associated with the hotel. We went to its beautiful terrace above the harbour just for our welcome drink, then stayed for an unforgettable dinner. It opened 6 months ago and has a Michelin star team.

The rooms were very clean, the hotel is beautiful, and the location is wonderful. The professional receptionists made our stay better and arranged an olive oil tasting nearby, which I'd absolutely recommend. I can't give it 5 stars because of breakfast. We chose this hotel for the room and restaurant views, but breakfast was served in a dark cellar with just a small window. The selection was limited and had too many sweets. Pancakes or omelettes would mean more to guests than another 5-6 sweet cakes. If that changed, it would be amazing.

The views were awesome, and the location was great. Dinner at the hotel was very good, with a wide-ranging wine menu and an expansive view of the harbor. My only issue was the beds: we booked a double, but got two twins. Pushing them together worked, though it wasn't what we thought we were paying for. The room had two balconies, and seeing the harbor while showering and getting ready in the morning was amazing. Top 3 view from a toilet, haha!
