You can walk to the piste in 5 minutes, though it's uphill, and ski back at the end of the day. There's an ice hockey stadium next door, and watching a match is a must if you're staying here. The apartment is large and very tidy, with all the kitchen gear needed for a nice meal, including an oven. For Italian morning coffee, there are three options: percolators, an espresso machine, and a regular Americano machine. Parking is in front of the house, and there's a garage for ski gear. Really recommend it.

What made this stay especially nice was the owner's hospitality. He was welcoming, quick to respond, and shared fantastic recommendations. The apartment was spotless, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Its location was peaceful but convenient, with a bus stop a short walk away for getting to the ski lifts or exploring the area. We had an amazing ski vacation in Selva, Val Gardena, and would love to return. It was a great home base for the trip.

Gerhardt was extremely helpful and responsive. The Merisana apartment was clean and comfortable, everything worked perfectly, and the location was handy for both the central lifts in Selva and the Skibus. We stayed from Feb. 26 to March 4. I recommend it for 4-6 people, or maybe 8? This was my fourth trip to Selva, so I'm familiar with the town and its accommodations.

I had covid and couldn't travel, but the owner showed no empathy or flexibility about changing the dates to the following year, even if they kept the deposit. Be careful if you run into a problem, or you could lose all your deposit money. Even in those difficult circumstances, the answer was clear: no exceptions, sorry.

Selva has lots of lovely bike trails in summer, and the nearby ski slopes are easy to reach. The house also has a nice mountain panorama.
