The residence is fine and pretty typical of what you find in this village and region. It’s well located, not far from the lifts. What put us off was the owners’ attitude. I felt as if they were doing us a favour by letting us stay. That kind of attitude seems quite common in Selva, where locals are spoiled by the many tourists who come to enjoy the mountains. Given the prices they charge, I don’t think that behaviour is acceptable. We come to Selva every winter, but because of this experience, I’d rather not stay here again.

The wellness area, garage, and elevator were useful, and the residence is close to the slope. But the apartment we booked was listed as 60 sq. m. and seemed to be only 36-40. The host said he would correct the listing, but hasn’t so far. Getting the car out was difficult because the route to the garage was steep and icy. Then the host’s wife yelled at us as if it were our fault. The cups in the apartment are tiny, so bring your own mug if you like tea. As others have said, there’s almost never anyone at reception if you need something, though that didn’t bother us.

We know Selva well, but this was our first stay at the residence and we had a very positive experience. Our apartment was clean and well maintained, with a splendid view. The parking space has direct access to the building, which was very convenient. The owners were kind and helpful, and the woman who welcomed us was friendly and very kind. We really appreciated that dogs are allowed. A lovely find that we definitely recommend.
