The food was excellent and really high quality, better than at some of the four-star hotels in the area. There was a very good drinks selection, a decent wine list, and excellent house red and white wines at reasonable prices. It’s a charming, traditional family run hotel in central Sesto, right beside bus stops, a large supermarket, bakery, and pharmacy. We had a fabulous stay and hope to return. Thank you!

A budget place to stay in Sexten, right on the main highway. The rooms are dated and need maintenance, but they’re functional. Nearby construction limits the views. The restaurant on site serves good quality food with good service, but it’s closed on Thursdays. There’s a discount for stays of several days.

I've been back three times, which says a lot. It's a lovely family-run hotel and restaurant, with a pretty interior, a good breakfast, and fair prices. I'd recommend it.

After a day walking, climbing, biking, or simply taking in the Dolomites, Mondschein is a warm place to come back to and rest. It's right in Sesto, in the Pusteria valley in northern Italy near Austria, and has that traditional Tirolean look, with beautiful interior details and pictures. If mountain scenery is what you've always dreamed of, this is the kind of hotel for you. I had a unique stay and would love to repeat it. Follow your heart and your love of the mountains.
