Hotel Ristorante Fiorentino

The lamb shank was so dry it was barely edible, and the fish main was tasteless too. The food felt like something from a bad school cafeteria. I was very disappointed with the restaurant. If you want quality Italian food, go somewhere else.

The service was very good, efficient and excellent. Our room was clean and had a TV, air conditioning and heating, though it was very small for a quadruple room, and the internet was very limited on the third floor. We stayed three nights with my wife and our two children, aged 2 years and 5 months, on a half-board package. Breakfast was very limited and the same each day. At dinner we had to choose from the chef’s two starters and two main dishes. We picked one of each every evening, but there was very little salad or vegetables, so we had to order those separately from the menu.

A very cosy place, and the food was good quality.

The food was excellent, and the waitresses were so friendly. They really went out of their way to help, including one who looked up the weather for my family. I’d recommend the trout fillet with the verdure cotte, and the house wine was excellent too. The hotel itself was nice, but the local staff are what made the experience.
