The bathroom was big and very clean, with a bidet and shower. Our room was pleasant and tidy, facing the street, so we did hear passing cars and motorbikes. There was also a bar next door that stayed noisy late. No fridge or kettle in the room.

The owners were kind enough to find us a place to park at no extra charge, and there’s a bar they own downstairs that works well for breakfast. We found the price very fair, especially with so many hotels charging sky-high rates that night. We came for a concert, and the stadium was an easy ten-minute walk away. Our room was large and spotless, with its own sink and mirror. We shared a bathroom with one other room and had no trouble at all. The room felt bigger than some three- and four-star hotel rooms. The sheets were disposable and eco-friendly, which was new to me, but seemed sensible for this kind of place and likely helps keep costs down. Highly recommended!

Getting there by car was easy, even though the guesthouse sits a little beyond the city center. The owners were kind, and the hostess was especially friendly. She gave us plenty of useful tips for our time in Trieste. The place has been renovated recently, and the rooms were clean and smelled fresh. The shared bathroom was spotless too.
