We planned three nights and ended up staying six. It’s hard to imagine a better spot in Trieste, near the seaside promenade and still not far from the city center. The apartments are roomy and comfortable, and the area feels quiet and safe. The old medical wine factory has been made into a cozy hotel, with lots of objects around the villa that reflect its history. The host was wonderful and welcoming.

The place is in a quiet part of the city, close to Barcola beach, and the kitchen has the basic equipment. The people were very nice, and it’s a perfect destination.

Thank you, Zeno. Greetings from Slovenia. The host was friendly, and I’d love to return. This is a distinctive place, an old vine factory renovated into a charming housing complex with an open garden at the front. The apartments are one-of-a-kind lofts, with spacious bedrooms and antique details that show the site’s history.

There’s no on-site parking, and the WiFi doesn’t work. When we raised problems, he blamed the guests. The place is described as pet friendly, but even though we’d told him by email that we were bringing our dog, he complained when we arrived. There are much better options in Trieste.

The apartment was roomy, sparkling clean and had every comfort, in a really convenient spot. A perfect place to stay in Trieste, highly recommend it.
