We came because someone had said the carbonara here was the best of their life, and we ended up polishing off the whole generous plate even though we weren’t very hungry. Creamy, delicious, and the best we’ve had too. We’ll remember eating it by the water for ages. Thanks! :) The staff were friendly, and both the restaurant and restrooms were very clean.

I stopped here right after arriving from Marco Polo airport and was starving, so I hadn’t checked any reviews first. Once I was seated, I saw some negative ones and felt a bit unsure, but the tagliatelle with shrimp, listed as tagliolini ai gamberi, turned out tasty and I had no complaints. My server was very polite. There’s an English section on the menu, and you can sit inside or outside facing the canal.

Liton made the evening with fantastic service, and the food was great. I’d definitely go for the spaghetti bolognese, it was wonderful.

We paid 50€ for carbonara, lasagna, an aperol spritz, and a bottle of water, which felt about average for the area. The carbonara was a 10/10, while the lasagna was more like a 7/10, decent but not the best I’ve had. Restaurant lasagna can be tricky since it has to sit ready for customers. They brought rolls and some cheese for the pasta. The two servers who helped us were lovely and spoke English, handy if you haven’t learned much Italian. The canal side has a fun atmosphere, though the street is busy, so people will be walking right by your table. I’d come back for the vibe, just not the lasagna.

We stumbled on this place and were pleasantly surprised by the service and the food. The risotto ai funghi was spectacular, and the canal views were excellent. Absolutely recommended.
