We stayed in the blue room, which was clean and had lots of space. Antonella was so welcoming and made us feel at home in Venice.

The service was wonderful. The two women who run this family business were super kind and nice. We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The apartment has an amazing terrace with incredible views, and its old decor gives you a sense of how people in Venice lived, since it’s a real home rather than a hotel. You do share spaces, including two bathrooms, but we never had to wait. The location is right in the centre, about a five-minute walk. Without a doubt, I’d stay again.

The view was beautiful, and the host was great. My favourite breakfast in italy!!! Just be ready for 75 stairs to reach the room.

The rooftop terrace has a nice view over Venice’s rooftops, and breakfast was good by Italian standards, weather allowing. But getting to the appartement means climbing a lot of stairs. The rooms at Antonella are in Venice style. I wouldn’t stay here in cold, rainy weather: the heater didn’t work, and the room and bathroom were really cold.
