Hotel Ca' di Dio

The complimentary trip to Murano, known for its glass-blowing, was a real highlight and a lovely memory from the stay. Ca’ di Dio itself is in a beautifully restored former monastery, now a stylish but practical luxury hotel that brings together history and comfort. The staff were warm and attentive from the moment I arrived. I got to know many of them by name, which says a lot about how personal the service felt. They went out of their way to coordinate activities and make my time in Venice easy and special. I’d happily stay here again and again, and I’ll be recommending it to my friends. Venice is magical, and Ca’ di Dio made the trip even more memorable.

The spa was a highlight for me. My massage with Alex was thoughtful, calming, and incredibly restorative, one of the best I’ve ever had after exploring the city. I also loved the Alchemia Bar, where the team were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive whether I stopped in for a drink before dinner or a nightcap. Breakfast was excellent too, with fresh, well-prepared food and gracious attendants each morning. As a solo female traveler, I felt comfortable and cared for during my two nights in mid-April. Every staff member I met was kind and attentive without making too much of it. From reception to housekeeping, the service felt professional and easygoing. Ca’ di Dio has a lovely mix of luxury and real hospitality. It’s refined and serene, but also welcoming. I left already looking forward to going back, and would gladly recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, elegant stay in Venice.

I was especially impressed by how the staff handled our noisy air conditioner. I told the front desk, and Philippo and manager Matteo took it seriously and fixed it right away. They checked in with us several times afterward and offered to move us if we weren’t satisfied. The hotel itself is calm, pretty, clean, comfortable, and modern, while keeping some older details. The courtyard garden bar is a relaxing spot, the staff there are very friendly, and their Bellinis were tasty. There’s a hotel dock for water taxis, and the Arsenale Vaporetto stop is right nearby. Very convenient, and I’d highly recommend this hotel.

Ivan, the concierge, made arranging boat trips easy, including visits to Murano and Burano. Both were wonderful, and his suggestion of a reservation-only restaurant in Burano led us to a meal with spectacular food and service. Manuel was also helpful, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The whole team made us feel well looked after. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with champagne and an upgrade to a room with an amazing view. That thoughtful touch made the trip even more memorable. Ca’ di Dio is a beautiful, elegant, high-end hotel, yet it still felt warm and down to earth. We had a great luxury stay from start to finish, would absolutely recommend it, and would love to return.
