Hotel Canal Grande

My mum and I stayed at the Canal Grande for four nights, and I honestly didn't want to leave. I slept better than I ever have. The rooms were incredibly clean, with beautiful interiors, and the four-poster bed and views of the grand canal in Venice felt really special. Everyone on staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful, and we felt at home. It's easy to walk to all the landmarks, and the bus and train stations are conveniently close. Such a beautiful, friendly, special place. When I come back to Venice, I only want to stay here, since I worry the experience elsewhere won't be the same. I'd recommend it to everyone, you won't be disappointed. A tip for UK travellers: validate your bus ticket after buying it. We didn't know, and got fined €100 on our way to the airport. Apart from that, our trip was 1000000/10.

Breakfast had a good selection and lovely service, and the reception team were extremely helpful. We had a really enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this hotel. The location by the canal is great, just a short walk from the train station. Our suite had a double bed and a sofa bed. It was clean and comfortable, with thoughtful extras like slippers and bathrobes. The service was wonderful throughout.

We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. The rooms are beautiful, the staff were wonderful, and the location is a lovely spot on the Grand Canal near the train station. Breakfast was nice, and there was afternoon tea followed by evening aperitivos.

The room gets very warm in winter, and you can hear people walking upstairs. Still, the views are wonderful, and the staff are great, especially Michael. The hotel is on the Grand Canal, a prime spot with plenty of tables reserved for hotel guests, which makes it feel private. It's a short walk from Venezia St Lucia station, and the location is the best.
