We spent 5 nights there in February and felt as though we were visiting friends. The Baseggio family were warm and welcoming throughout, and they took care of every request, not only at breakfast. Our room and bathroom were very clean and spacious by Venetian standards. It was a quiet, central spot, only a few minutes' walk from Vraporetto. Before we arrived, they sent us lots of helpful directions and suggestions for good, inexpensive restaurants. We'll definitely come back.

Marco and Alessandra were friendly, informative hosts and gave us plenty of ideas for places to eat, drink, and visit. Breakfast was excellent each day, with boiled egg, cereal, bread, fruit juice, and fresh coffee, served on a terrace overlooking a small walled garden. We stayed for 4 nights in early October 2024. The room on the first floor of this former Franciscan monastery apartment building was spacious, nicely decorated, and had a comfortable bed and lots of storage. It's an authentic bed and breakfast. The area is quiet in the evening, with most of Venice a fairly short walk away. Madonna dell'Orto vaporetto stop is about a 10-minute walk, and Alilaguna boats use it too, so getting there from Marco Polo airport was easy. Grand Canal and F.te Nove stops are handy for reaching places further away or getting around faster. We'd stay again when we're back in Venice.

We spent 3 days in beautiful Venice at Casa Baseggio. Alessandra and Marc were gracious and helpful, and she explained the area when we arrived. The room was clean and nice, though I wish the aircon had been working. Breakfast came with a huge selection of continental items and juices, all nicely presented, on a terrace facing a beautiful garden. Everything is within walking distance, and the hotel is in a spot that stays fairly peaceful at night. We'd definitely recommend it.

Marco was quick to reply, helpful, and accommodating, and the service was lovely. The room and bathroom were spacious, very clean, and nice, and the AC worked great. We had an amazing stay at B&B Casa Baseggio, and I can only recommend it.

This part of the city is beautiful and much more relaxed. The owners were really nice and friendly, and our room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was Italian style.
