Scammers, plain and simple. We arrived at 21:35 and they cancelled our check-in, even though they'd already told us in writing that late check-in cost 50€. They still haven't refunded the money. That's the definition of a scammer.
Stay away! They cancelled our reservation without any serious reason, took the booking money from our card, and left us out on the street all night. Unacceptable and inhuman. Don't trust them!
The room and bathroom were both spacious by Venice standards, and the bed was comfortable. Heating was available too. We had a little difficulty locating the room at first, but they quickly gave us clearer directions. The receptionist I spoke with on the phone was very kind and helpful, and so was the young woman who welcomed us. Everything went smoothly, and the price felt typical for Venice.
