We were left without a place to stay or any explanation, and the cancellation ruined our trip. We had booked one night three months earlier and were waiting nearby after traveling from Spain to visit Venice when the management cancelled, just one hour before check-in. I'd give zero stars if I could. Update: the owner replied as though we had ignored a cancellation warning from Booking, but neither Booking nor the owner had sent us one. Booking contacted us only after the cancellation was reported, again an hour before check-in, to help find an alternative. The owner never replied.

Our family had an amazing stay in this apartment, in an amazing location. It's very close to everything and to the train station. The host is a very nice guy. The place is at the top of a very old building, so you need to be able to manage stairs.

There's loads of character in this lovely old building. The place was clean and tidy, and the shower was nice and hot. Street cafes and bars nearby make some noise until late.

I haven't stayed there yet, but I was meant to arrive on October 28th, 2021. The day before, I lost consciousness and hit the floor, lost a tooth, and needed minor surgery on my lips. When I explained what happened, they cancelled the whole booking without charging me. I'm so grateful for what they did, and I'll definitely stay there soon.

The host was very friendly, and the flat was lovely. It's close to the train station and the waterbus stop for St Marks, with a supermarket nearby too.
