The service was a real strength. Front desk and breakfast staff were cheerful and helpful, and they arranged a selection of gluten-free options for my wife. We slept well in comfortable beds in a quiet room, and the toiletries provided were plentiful. The room quality was better than at other three-star hotels we’ve tried. For sightseeing, the location is hard to beat, nearly halfway between Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square. It’s a three-star hotel in a five-star spot, with service to match. If you can, get a canal-view room. We enjoyed watching the gondolas go by.

For the price I paid in mid-December, I’d stay again. The employees were helpful, and breakfast had several good choices. The room was basic but clean, with no mold. It’s close to St Mark’s Square and Rialto Bridge. The mattress was hard and sagging, though I managed to sleep because I was so tired. The bathroom could have used conditioner and shower soap instead of having us share the sink soap.

Check-in and check-out were easy, and breakfast was delicious and included. The rooms are small, as you’d expect in the city, but ours had everything we needed. The location was excellent.

The buffet was delicious, but the room was barely usable with even one suitcase in it. The bed was rock hard, and there was mold on the bathroom curtain and in the shower. The AC was loud and didn't cool properly. We stayed in August '25. There's no elevator, so be ready to carry a large bag up 3-4 flights.
