We had plenty of space in the large room, and the beds were comfortable. It was serviced with clean towels and the AC was very welcome in the heat. Just be aware, it's up two flights of stairs with no lift, and there wasn't a fridge or anything for making tea.

The first morning, there was some kind of maintenance work right outside our room around 8am, so it was noisy. Hopefully that was a one-off. Check-in at the main hotel was easy, and the woman there brought out a map, marked places to see before we'd even asked, and helped with our luggage. The room itself was very clean and more spacious than I expected. The location was good too, within walking distance of Rialto Bridge and San Marco.

The rooms are clean and have a nice old-fashioned style, with all the basics. Breakfast was very basic. Check-in happens at Hotel Bernardi, which confused us because the staff hadn't explained it, though they were very helpful once we got there.

Good location and clean rooms. We were in Venice for the first time, and the woman who helped us was really nice and gave us lots of information about the attractions.
