Locanda Al Convento

A perfect getaway, not far from the airport or the city. The place was lovely and maybe the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in. It was very clean, the beds were so comfortable, and the staff were kind and helpful.

I’d definitely stay here again, and next time I’d try to come Wednesday to Sunday so the restaurant is open. I found Locanda al Convento while looking on Google Maps for somewhere near Venice airport, since we had a rental car to return before our flight the next morning. Dario was a friendly, helpful host. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the setting was peaceful and quiet. His restaurant was closed that night, but he suggested local places and even made a dinner reservation for us. The restaurant staff knew Dario and treated us well, and the food was delicious. We like cats, and at least three friendly outdoor cats came to welcome us.

A quiet place in a nice-looking villa, with a clean room, a comfortable bed, and free parking. We booked because of the trattoria reviews, but it was closed while we were there. Breakfast was listed as included, yet at 7 in the morning there was nothing to eat, just coffee and orange juice. Emails also went unanswered by the staff responsible for replying.

We had two spacious rooms for six of us, two adults and four kids, and the beds were comfortable. The pastry and coffee at breakfast were delicious, and waking up surrounded by a vineyard was lovely. We checked in easily and quickly after arriving at 19:50, then had a delicious dinner in the Trattoria. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We stayed the night before our flight, and the location was perfect, much better than an airport hotel, with just 10 minutes to the car rental return.
