Villa Orio & Beatrice Hotel

I had a large room with a comfy bed and AC that worked really well. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we had a great time at my friend's birthday party. Alberoni's lovely beach is nearby, with a bus stop right outside the hotel.

I felt completely at ease here and loved my time at this lovely hotel in a residential part of Lido. Alessandro and his crew were spectacular. It works well for families and independent travelers, and it's also a great spot for gatherings, like 50th birthday parties. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The beach nearby is calm and not too crowded, and you can catch a bus right outside to the center of Lido. The hotel is usually very peaceful. Breakfast had lots of variety and was very good, but by 9:30 or later most of the food was gone. We also weren't told we could have dinner at the hotel one evening, so we'd already eaten elsewhere and missed the chance to spend time with the hotel people. This family now runs the place, as well as another hotel somewhere in Venice. They're friendly, though they seemed new to hotel management. Our room was put in a hallway with three other rooms occupied by a group of German guests with children. They were very loud until 2 a.m. outside our window, which faced the terrace. The terrace was supposed to be closed by then, but the owners should have stopped people sitting there so late, or at least told them to keep quiet after 11 p.m. The rooms haven't really changed since our visit three years ago. They were very clean and suited our needs, though the fridge, which had one bottle of still water and one of sparkling water, was never restocked. Since the hotel recently changed owners, I felt I had to update my review.

Alessandro and his team handled a big group and every complicated situation that came up with real professionalism. The service was great, and most of all, they always greeted us with a big smile. The restaurant food is chasing a Michelin star 🇮🇹. This hotel is something special.
