LVG Hotel Collection - Gardenia

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were really nice and always available. I'd recommend staying here if you're on a tight budget.

It's a handy base for driving to nearby cities, with free parking. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the free continental breakfast is great: all kinds of coffee and tea, fruit, yogurt, cereal, different croissants, homemade cakes, plus scrambled eggs and bacon. Some rooms are a bit dated, but spotless. We asked for a twin room and got a suite with two rooms and a bathroom. It stayed quiet despite the busy road. There's not much going on nearby, though. The bus stop for Verona is a couple hundred metres away, with regular service in the daytime but less often in the evening.

The hotel's in a strategic spot, just minutes from the motorway and about 15 minutes from Verona centre. Parking is free, both outside and underground, though finding an outdoor space was hit or miss. Breakfast was included in the price, but I would've liked a couple more cheese and salami or ham options. The staff were friendly and professional. At 2 a.m., the night staff were especially helpful and made my wife camomile tea for her upset stomach.

It's on Verona's outskirts, conveniently close to the main roads, including motorways and highways. The rooms are very spacious, with excellent bathrooms, coffee machines, large TVs and air conditioning. There is parking both outside and inside. Breakfast is a good international spread, and the price is good for this category.
