I first visited while seeing my wife’s parents, and had the best hotel experience of my life. It’s an unbelievable ryokan-style hotel, with great rooms, incredible amenities, food that changed my life, and beautiful views of the river and mountains. I still remember those days vividly and count down every dawn until I can return. Visit, you won’t regret it. 2025 edit: I went back last week for one night. Still amazing. Go, you won’t regret it.

The service and hospitality were the best. There are several Hot Springs to visit, but check the time slots carefully because access switches between men and women according to the schedule. The room also has lots of free amenities. Dinner was delicious, with plenty of fresh local vegetables and fruit. I highly recommend it to foreigners too! I’m Japanese.

The place was clean and bigger than I’d expected. Our room came with our own open-air bath, and with the morning buffet, the price is hard to beat. Highly recommended. One thing to know if you’re coming by train: stores, including a convenience store, are very far away, so it’s better to come by car.

The hot spring hotel was much bigger than I’d imagined, with lots of different baths. I was happy with both the lavish dinner and the breakfast buffet. I’d like to stay here again.
