Beautiful nature, great food, and really kind staff. The place feels cozy and comfortable, and the amenities are great too.

We were comfortable throughout our first stay there, and the staff's careful guidance helped my partner feel at ease with their first glamping trip. I'd happily recommend giving it a try, as long as you don't arrive with sky-high expectations. I did wish someone had shown me where to fish in the stream, though I heard fishing was possible. I picked the campsite last fall because I wanted somewhere stylish. The cabin-like feel, appealing food, and sauna all caught my eye, and Ruufu's website had the best price, so I booked right away. We went to the sauna as soon as we arrived. There was no cold plunge, but we were told the river was an option. We tried it, found the water much too cold, and got chilled in no time. (laughs) Dinner was very generous, and I loved trying to brew coffee from beans for the first time. After dark, lights on the central tree gave the place a stylish look. We also chatted around a campfire with the couple in the cabin next door, which was a fun little moment. We got up early and walked around the area, hoping to spot deer since we'd heard they often showed up. No luck that morning. The autumn leaves are beautiful right now, so I've been thinking about going back.

The sauna was great, the food and craft beer were good, and the staff were friendly. But I barely slept in the largest room I booked. There was another room right beside it, and even with a wall between us I could hear everything. The soundproofing really wasn't good. The person next door played loud music and carried on loudly until 2-3 a.m. I understand that can happen, but I didn't like hearing it so clearly. I wouldn't recommend the largest room. I'd prefer a smaller room with its own separation.
