The country-style interior was lovely, and I felt comfortable and relaxed. There’s a loft, a cypress barrel bath, a BBQ grill, and a bonfire, lots to enjoy if you’re a kid at heart. The owner was kind and welcoming, and gave me a tour on arrival so I could get a feel for the room and learn how to use everything. The kitchen has the basic appliances for making meals, and I was happy to find a pop-up toaster (lol). You may need a car to get fresh food, unless I missed something. Even with a road and convenience store nearby, nights were quiet, and the shop next door is handy for essentials. I stayed there very recently and found the location good for a relaxing visit. (^-^)

We stayed in both the villa and the trailer house, and each had its own charm. In the trailer, the living room was roomy, with a queen bed, bunk beds, and a kitchen stocked with a microwave, fridge, dishes, and cooking utensils. We had pizza from the pizza oven again, and could BBQ on the covered wooden deck. In the villa, the spacious living room and kitchen opened up to a loft by ladder, which the kids loved as a secret base. The bathroom, toilet, and sink were spotless. There’s also a covered BBQ area, a pizza oven for making your own pizza and bread for an additional fee, an outdoor bath made from Mt. Fuji cypress, and an artificial turf athletic area. There was fun for kids and adults, and the convenience store next door made the location handy.

We stayed in the trailer house as a family of four with children, and it was a great time. The kids were thrilled by the huge trailer shipped from overseas. They played secret base and hid in its many storage spaces. It has a kitchen, toilet, bath, and clean, comfortable beds. The covered terrace right nearby is great for BBQ, with a fridge and mini sink both inside and out. There’s a microwave, oven, cookware, and dishes, so you can cook much as you would at home. The pizza oven was already heated for us, making it easy to eat outside. The kids enjoyed the athletic area and playing in the water at the private open-air bath in a separate building. Later, the adults refilled the bath and had a relaxing soak, and the bonfire was lovely too. The place only has the cottage and trailer for two groups, and since the cottage was unoccupied that day, we had even more privacy. There’s a convenience store next door for drinks and anything we’d forgotten. It’s a convenient location without quite the feeling of being out in the wilderness, which could make it easier for people new to camping or kids who are nervous in the dark. We didn’t use the rental bikes this time because the children weren’t big enough and it was too hot during the day, but they could be a great activity when they’re older. We enjoyed chatting with the easygoing owner. Thank you!

On our second visit, we rented the whole villa instead of staying in a trailer house as we did last time. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable for four adults and two children. The kids played in the loft while the adults ate, drank, and chatted. We had delicious pizza fresh from the oven, a relaxed BBQ in the garage, and another great soak in the private open-air bath. The time together was happy again, and there were plenty of fun facilities nearby for families, couples, or others. Mr. Watanabe was kind to us once more. On my first visit, I loved the large trailer, outdoor BBQ, and open-air bath. It was a blissful stay, and the owner, Mr. Watanabe, was incredibly kind. There’s a convenience store nearby, a supermarket an easy drive away, and Lake Kawaguchi and Mt. Fuji are within easy reach. I’d recommend the place for summer vacation or whenever you want to relax in a private villa, and it’s definitely somewhere I’d return to. Thank you.
